That sentence in particular is one I feel quite efficacious about. I did have to revise a lot of the language within the overall piece a few times to get it to where I felt it was both informative and engaging enough. Thanks for reading and for your comment, Jane!

An enlightening read- for some reason I had it in my head that strength training in general was from the 1900’s

I also had no idea when the discipline of bodybuilding truly became a valid lifestyle and profession. While the concept of strength training goes way back to antiquity, it seems that it didn't become accessible until the late 1800s! And it's also fascinating to learn about Enlightenment's impact on the social and cultural discourse around health, wellness and fitness.
